Job Summary:
We are searching for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our thriving logistics operation in Phoenix, Arizona. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through meticulous record-keeping, regular audits, and process improvements. Your contributions are vital to ensuring that we have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time, which is fundamental to our supply chain's success. You will work closely with warehouse staff, using technology and established procedures to track inventory movements, resolve discrepancies, and optimize stock levels. A strong understanding of inventory management principles and a commitment to safety are essential. All personnel must adhere to safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices when handling inventory. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE.
  • Support receiving and shipping departments with inventory-related tasks.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to minimize shrinkage and improve inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of inventory best practices and logistics operations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
