As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they are packaged securely. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices for inventory tracking.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Contribute to team goals and assist colleagues as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse terminology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
