We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Worker to support our operations in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is fundamental to the efficient functioning of our warehouse and involves a variety of tasks including order fulfillment, stocking, loading, and unloading. You will be responsible for ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and that outgoing shipments are processed correctly. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Your day-to-day activities will involve using warehouse equipment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential for your safety and the safety of others. This role involves significant physical exertion, including regular lifting and moving of materials. Understanding basic logistics and warehouse flow is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and put away incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Contribute to team efforts and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Strong work ethic and reliability. Good communication skills. Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE is mandatory.
