As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and assisting with put-away and replenishment processes. Your accuracy and diligence will directly impact our inventory management efficiency. The ideal candidate is organized, methodical, and possesses strong data entry skills. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Assist with the put-away of received goods and stock rotation.
- Track and manage inventory levels, reporting variances.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Identify damaged or expired stock and process accordingly.
- Support the receiving and shipping departments as needed.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to inventory control.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, particularly with WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform some warehouse tasks including occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
