As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and maintaining an organized warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Sort and place materials or products in designated storage areas.
- Organize warehouse inventory to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to strict safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and record keeping.
- Contribute to team goals and overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of logistics is a plus.
