Join our growing logistics operations as an Order Picker in Des Moines, Iowa! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to accurately pick customer orders from our warehouse shelves. This role is key to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our valued customers. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, identifying products, and preparing them for packing and shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using an order list or scanning device.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Verify order accuracy to minimize errors.
- Operate electric pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
