Become a key player in our warehouse operations in Boise, Idaho, as a Material Handler. This position is vital for ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for moving, storing, and organizing a wide range of materials, utilizing various pieces of equipment. A strong commitment to safety and precision is essential for success in this role within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and accurately store materials and finished goods.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
- Conduct routine checks on material handling equipment for safety and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Support inventory control activities, including cycle counting and stock verification.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other relevant equipment.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 55 pounds consistently.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must comply with all company safety policies and wear mandatory PPE.
