Our Cincinnati, Ohio facility is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with the reconciliation of inventory records. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. You will play a key role in ensuring our inventory management systems are up-to-date and accurate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stock rotation.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete stock.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all logistics and inventory control protocols.
- Be aware of Lifting requirements for inventory movement.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software (WMS) and scanning equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
