Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists or digital orders.
- Utilize handheld scanners to record picked items and update inventory levels.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or shipping stations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring clear pathways and organized storage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory counts as directed.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets and enhancing logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse function is beneficial.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, involving walking and standing.
- Must be able to handle regular lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Adherence to all safety regulations and mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
