We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Worker in our Houston, Texas facility. This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, involving the efficient handling and movement of goods within the warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, energetic, and committed to upholding high standards of productivity and safety. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing directly to the successful fulfillment of customer orders and the overall efficiency of our supply chain. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all employees must adhere to established safety guidelines and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. This position offers a great starting point for a career in logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock shelves and storage areas with incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specific requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Adhere to proper Lifting techniques and guidelines.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of products within the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Capable of frequently Lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- A positive attitude towards working in a logistics environment.
