Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our operations in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics facility. Your expertise will be critical in minimizing downtime and ensuring the safety of our team. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and execute necessary repairs on machinery, conveyor systems, and other equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently. A proactive approach to maintenance and a focus on preventative care are essential. Adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. Your work directly impacts the efficiency and safety of our entire logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
  • Install new equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop and warehouse environment.
  • Must be comfortable with occasional heavy Lifting as required for equipment repair.
  • Understand the critical role of equipment functionality in logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical ability to perform repairs, which may involve Lifting, bending, and working in various positions.
