Join our team in San Francisco, California, as a Receiving Clerk and become an integral part of our efficient Logistics operations. We are seeking a meticulous and physically capable individual to manage the intake of all incoming goods. Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, verifying inventory against documentation, inspecting for damage, and accurately placing items in their designated storage locations. Adherence to strict Safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. This position demands physical dexterity and the capacity for significant Lifting of items regularly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and thrives in a team environment, contributing to smooth Logistics workflows. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming deliveries efficiently.
- Cross-reference shipment contents with purchase orders and packing slips.
- Conduct thorough inspections of goods for any defects or damages.
- Input receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS) with precision.
- Transport and store received items in appropriate warehouse zones.
- Ensure the receiving area remains clean, orderly, and safe.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and diligently use required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize Logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to handle tasks involving consistent Lifting of products.
- Experience in warehouse receiving or related Logistics functions is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding and commitment to Safety procedures and the use of PPE.
