Join our team as a Forklift Operator in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and become a key player in our Logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential, and adherence to all Safety guidelines is non-negotiable. The job involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and movement of goods, so physical fitness is important. This is a critical position within our Logistics chain, ensuring the smooth and timely movement of inventory. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses excellent spatial awareness, and has a proven track record of safe forklift operation. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Familiarity with Logistics and inventory management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
