Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Associate in Chicago, Illinois, and play a key role in our daily logistics operations. This position offers a variety of responsibilities, including receiving and unloading shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing goods for outgoing transport. You will contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse, ensuring smooth product flow. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace Safety, and adherence to all established safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE, is non-negotiable. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:
  • Unload incoming trucks and verify shipment contents against documentation.
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately stock incoming inventory.
  • Pick and pack orders according to established procedures and accuracy standards.
  • Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
  • Comply with all company safety regulations and requirements, including consistent use of PPE.
  • Support efficient logistics and material handling processes.
  • Perform duties that involve regular Lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is preferred. Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting and moving of heavy items. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) are a plus. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions meticulously. Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial. Reliability and punctuality are key.
