Join our vibrant team as a Picker/Packer in Nashville, Tennessee, where you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This fast-paced position involves accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications and then meticulously packing them for shipment. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy while adhering to all safety regulations. This role is essential to our fulfillment process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will utilize handheld scanners and our warehouse management system to locate, pick, and prepare orders. Careful attention to detail is required to ensure the correct items and quantities are selected and packaged appropriately. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using a scanner.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order details and shipping information for accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment and adhere to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Meet or exceed picking and packing performance standards.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations through accurate order fulfillment.
- Perform duties involving significant Lifting and manual dexterity.
Qualifications:
Previous picking or packing experience is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Capable of performing physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 pounds. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Team player with good communication skills. Prior experience with scanners and WMS is beneficial. Commitment to workplace Safety.
