We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our Portland, Oregon operations. This pivotal role oversees the day-to-day functions of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all logistics activities. The Warehouse Coordinator will manage inventory, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, supervise warehouse staff, and maintain optimal warehouse organization. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing operational procedures, optimizing workflows, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. A deep understanding of supply chain management and logistics is essential, as is a commitment to fostering a safe working environment. This includes ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and promoting the correct use of PPE. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally is required, and experience operating warehouse equipment is beneficial. We are looking for a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in warehouse management. Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counting and stock accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with carriers and vendors.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper PPE usage.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and security.
- Implement and improve warehouse procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring its safe use.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and logistics activities.
- Resolve operational issues and address staff concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and enforcing PPE protocols.
- Problem-solving aptitude and decision-making skills.
