As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Inspect equipment for damage or malfunction and report issues immediately.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
