We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is crucial for fulfilling customer orders efficiently and accurately. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment, ensuring that each order is complete and correctly packaged. Your attention to detail and speed are key to maintaining our high standards in logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify product identification and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Operate scanning devices to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics and fulfillment processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory concepts.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe working space.
