We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy logistics facility in Kansas City, Missouri! As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the movement of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include safely operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials. Precision, efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to safety are essential in this position. Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations within our logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse logistics and material handling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the critical importance of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace for yourself and colleagues.
