Are you detail-oriented and enjoy an active role? Join our team in Madison, Wisconsin as an Order Picker! In this crucial position within our logistics operations, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency directly impacts customer satisfaction. We emphasize a strong culture of Safety and provide all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your protection. This role requires you to be mobile and engaged throughout your shift, navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve products.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order slips or scanner technology.
- Pack selected items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Verify picked items against order accuracy to minimize errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding areas.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Properly use all issued PPE while performing duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of performing frequent Lifting and carrying of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to procedures.
