Seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is integral to our logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. A commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas with incoming goods.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and utilize required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
