Digital Marketing Manager
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies to drive guest engagement, brand awareness, and revenue for Lake of the Torches Resort Casino. This role oversees all digital channels, including email, social media, website content, SEO/SEM, display and programmatic advertising, and analytics. The Manager collaborates with internal teams, external vendors, and creative resources to deliver compelling, data-driven digital campaigns that enhance the guest experience and support the property's marketing objectives. This is a hands-on, strategic role requiring technical expertise, creativity, and analytical skills. The position requires flexibility to work day, evening, and weekend hours to support campaigns, on-property events, content creation, and other time-sensitive marketing initiatives, including occasional holidays or short-notice assignments. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Email Marketing
Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional, retention, and loyalty communications. Segment email lists, manage automation workflows, and personalize content for targeted campaigns. Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and optimize campaigns for maximum engagement. Content Marketing
Plan, write, and manage blogs, web content, and digital storytelling initiatives that align with the brand. Collaborate with design and creative teams to produce multimedia content for web and social channels. Ensure all content is SEO-optimized, on-brand, and tailored for target audiences. SEO/SEM & Website Management
Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and website traffic. Manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and optimize for ROI and performance goals. Monitor and report website performance using analytics tools; make recommendations for improvements. Display & Programmatic Advertising
Plan, launch, and optimize display and programmatic ad campaigns across relevant networks and platforms. Collaborate with agencies and vendors to ensure campaign targeting, creative, and budget alignment. Monitor and report on campaign KPIs, optimizing for engagement, leads, and conversions. Social Media & Online Engagement
Develop and manage content calendars across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Monitor and respond to online engagement in a timely and professional manner. Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to increase audience reach and engagement. Analytics & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report on all digital marketing campaigns and website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and other reporting platforms. Develop actionable insights to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and support revenue growth. Present performance reports and recommendations to the Director of Marketing and other leadership as needed. Vendor & Team Collaboration
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and contractors for campaign execution and support. Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Promotions, Graphic Design, and Player Development to ensure alignment of messaging and strategy. Provide guidance and training on digital best practices to staff as needed. General Responsibilities
Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices. Ensure all campaigns adhere to brand standards, legal regulations, and data privacy requirements. Participate in departmental meetings and strategic planning sessions. Attend on-property events during day, evening, and weekend hours to capture photos, video, and social content for marketing campaigns. Support real-time social media coverage and content creation during events and promotions. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities may include providing guidance or coordination support to marketing designers, analysts, coordinators, specialists, or interns as assigned. The position reports to the Director of Marketing. Internal contact includes all departments and associates on all levels. External contact may include occasional interaction with guests, visitors, or vendors in relation to Lake of the Torches Resort Casino. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered. Experience: A minimum of 35 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or casino environments is required. Proven experience managing email campaigns, content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, display/programmatic advertising, and analytics is required. Experience with marketing automation platforms, content management systems, and analytics/reporting tools is required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices, tools, and platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, social media management tools, and digital advertising platforms. Must be able to manage, maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact. Must maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary. Working Environment: Work Conditions: This position is an on-property role based at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino. Core responsibilities require regular, in-person collaboration with marketing, promotions, player development, and operational teams, as well as on-site support for events, promotions, and time-sensitive campaign execution. Work may include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours based on promotional and operational needs. The working environment may involve varied internal and external settings, including exposure to natural elements, loud music, and other event-related conditions. Exposure to Hazards: May be exposed to situations where guest, visitor or associate behavior may create undesirable conditions. Physical Requirements: Normal office physical requirements that include sitting and keyboarding. Must also be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift, at a minimum, 20 pounds. License Requirements: Must be able to be licensed by the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Gaming Commission.
