Allegheny Health Network (AHN)’s Surgery Institute is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Oculoplastic Surgeon to join our expanding Department of Ophthalmology. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive oculoplastic and reconstructive surgical services to patients within the AHN network. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing practice, participate in academic activities, and provide exceptional patient care.
Highlights:
Perform a full range of oculoplastic surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
- Eyelid reconstruction (ptosis repair, blepharoplasty, ectropion/entropion repair)
- Lacrimal surgery (dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), canalicular repair)
- Orbital surgery (tumor excision, fracture repair, decompression)
- Cosmetic facial procedures (brow lift, facelift, injectables)
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients with oculoplastic conditions.
- Oculoplastic/orbital trauma surgery
- Collaboration with Neurosurgery, ENT, and Plastic Surgery if desired.

Job Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
- Completion of an accredited oculoplastic surgery fellowship program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) preferred.
- Valid Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
