We are looking for you, located in Trier or 100% remote in Germany as a

Software Performance Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks are:

• Contribute in deep-dive root cause analysis in complex, distributed environments

• Develop and maintain performance and monitoring framework

• Support development teams to ensure scalability, stability in new products by doing design and architecture reviews

• Ensure consistency and the way our framework is used

• Contribute in maintainance and further development framework components

• Work with both local and international product teams

• You are able to find the leaking code in an JVM heap-dump that ran out of memory and you are able to explain/discuss the fix to the responsible development team

You’ll bring in:

• Several years of working experience as a Java Developer

• You like to drill-down to the root cause in complex environments and it makes you happy to help the responsible R&D teams to fix it

• Strong know how in min 3 of the following technologies: Jakarta Enterprise, Kubernetes, Docker, Java SE, Go, JBoss, Wildfly, JVM

• Good to have: You are familiar with Grafana, Prometheus, Open-Telemetry

• Experience in Software Design, planning and concept creation

• Very good language skills in English, s peaking & understanding German would be a benefit
