In addition to real career opportunities, we offer you a competitive salary package supplemented with extra-legal benefits. *About the Role* Perform a wide variety of engineering duties with respect to original electrical design of machines as well as design changes. *Responsibilities* * Designing electrical system for CNC machine tools per relevant electrical regulations and code * Create electrical assembly drawings and schematics * Design and development systems associated with new machine tool products as needed * Initiate and implement electrical design improvements to existing equipment for purposes of cost reduction and functional improvement * Perform machine safety analysis on existing and new product designs incorporating proper safeguards and warnings * Develop PLC programs to control machinery functions * Render technical assistance to other departments as necessary by performing tests, adjustments and repair work on electrical/electronic equipment in-house and in the field * Organize coordination of work to meet established schedules, and project timeframes working collectively with others on bills of material, print releases, component selection, schematics, and related areas * Review customer specifications and assist with the preparation of quotations and proposals * Maintain familiarization with electrical codes as they relate to machine tools * Perform other duties assigned as necessary *Qualifications* * Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required * Entry level up to 5 years related experience designing products in a manufacturing environment * Knowledge of electrical wiring of industrial machinery preferred *Technical Skills* * Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Office, email) * Knowledge of Autocad Electrical, Creo or other CAD software * Programming experience preferred * Work environment will consist of a regular office setting with occasional exposure to a manufacturing setting and travel * Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. on occasion * No other employees directly report to this position *Interpersonal Skills* * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong time & project management skills * Detail orientated * Able to collaborate and interact with others * Demonstrated electrical and creative capabilities *Pay range and compensation package* * Pay Range $58,000-$63,000/year * Medical, dental, and vision * Life insurance for employees / dependents * Short and long term disability coverage * Health Savings Account (HSA) * 401(k) savings plan with company match and profit share * Paid time off and holidays * Ongoing training and professional development * Opportunities for career advancement *Equal Opportunity Statement* We are committed to diversity and inclusivity. ``` Job Type: Full-time Pay: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
