As a border protection professional, your duties may include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions, preventing apprehension of aliens or smugglers at or near borders, maintaining surveillance using infrared scopes during night operations, interpreting tracking marks other physical evidence illegal entry persons/contraband performing farm checks building checks traffic checks city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundary coastal waterways vehicles horses vessels watercraft off-road vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles.

• To qualify for this role you must possess one (1) year specialized experience equivalent next lower grade level performing duties such as physically searching detained individuals their vehicles immediate surroundings weapons contraband currency evidence apprehending physically restraining working law enforcement officials identify/apprehend violators state/federal immigration laws utilizing firearms preparing investigative reports serving court orders gathering evidence criminal cases prosecuted courts
