About the Job:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
- Facilitate trade and travel while ensuring border security.
To be eligible for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. This includes detaining suspected violators of federal laws using proper law enforcement methods. You should also be able to enforce importing/exporting regulations using intelligence techniques.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or National (residing permanently).
- A minimum 1-year residency in the United States during last 5 years prior to application date.
Federal Law Enforcement Training Program : As part of this role, you will receive comprehensive training covering basic law enforcement skills as well as advanced knowledge on various topics including firearms training.
