Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator? We are looking for skilled individuals to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this critical role, you will operate a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse. Your expertise ensures efficient inventory management and movement, forming a vital link in our logistics chain. This position demands precision, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and an unwavering commitment to Safety. The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently handling materials at various heights, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of inventory. You will work closely with the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory movements and maintain optimal storage utilization. Maintaining equipment and adhering to all operating procedures are essential aspects of this role. We prioritize a culture of safety, providing all necessary training and equipment. Compliance with all regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. While operating the reach truck, be mindful of your surroundings and the potential for Lifting of product when necessary. Understanding of Logistics processes will be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move and stack inventory.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Accurately record inventory movements in the warehouse management system.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the reach truck.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures for warehouse operations.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around your operating zones.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
