Job Description:
As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce responsible for safeguarding our nation’s borders. You will enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- You must possess one of the following qualifications:
• A minimum of three years full-time general work experience that demonstrates your ability to meet and deal with people.
• a bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. - For GS-7 grade level, you require at least one year specialized full-time work experience equivalent to the next lower grade level including inspections for criminal activity,fraud, /or illegal operations;
evaluating facts;reviewing documentation,
;applying Federal State,/local laws /regulations,making determinations in compliance with laws/regulations resulting arrests/seizure property, fines/pennalties based findings.
