The Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) is a highly skilled professional responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential threats to national security.
Main Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
- Facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
- Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
Required Skills:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of three years full-time general work experience that demonstrates the ability to meet and deal with people. ,
or
degrees equivalent in education or any combination thereof. Experience working in law enforcement or military environments is highly valued as it provides valuable knowledge regarding conducting investigations,
making determinations based on evidence obtained during an investigation.
