Customs and Border Protection Officer
Are you a law enforcement professional looking for an opportunity to work in the heart of America's borders? Do you want to be part of an elite team dedicated to safeguarding our nation?
We are seeking highly skilled individuals like you who can make rapid, accurate judgments and decisions with respect to enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.
The role involves conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances as well as utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats. You will also play a crucial part in facilitating legitimate trade while preventing illicit activities.
Key Responsibilities include detaining suspected violators using proper methods, enforcing import-export regulations, analyzing cargo/bags/merchandise for security breaches, making risk assessments based on gathered information etc.
Skills & Qualifications:

  • Detective or investigative experience is preferred but not necessary.

  • Familiarity with international shipping practices or knowledge of importing/exporting procedures would be beneficial.
The selected candidates will complete an initial paid orientation followed by rigorous training at FLETC Academy where they'll learn advanced skills such as firearms operation,
