Border Control Specialist

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding the nation's borders and ensuring the safety of its citizens. Your role will involve enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to prevent illicit activity.

• Enforcing laws and regulations related to importing, exporting, and international shipping
• Detecting potential threats using intelligence techniques and behavior analysis
• Conducting interviews with suspected violators of laws to determine their admissibility into the United States

In addition to your law enforcement duties, you may also be required to facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry into the country. As a CBPO, you must possess strong communication skills as well as knowledge of relevant federal statutes.
