In this critical role, you will serve as a frontline defender of national security, working collaboratively with other highly trained professionals to safeguard the nation's borders. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) , your primary responsibilities include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations. You must be able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people and work well under supervision. In addition, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

A CBPO is responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances entering or exiting the country. This may involve searching vehicles or cargo for prohibited goods or contraband. You will also be required to determine admissibility of individuals seeking entry into the United States.
