Customs and Border Protection Officer Overview

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO), you will be part of an elite team working together to ensure the safety, security, and prosperity of our nation. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on protecting America's borders while being part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce.


Typical Assignments:
  • Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate legitimate trade and travel by conducting inspections.
  • Determine individual admissibility for entry into the United States.
