We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customs Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations, as well as facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.

• Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws using proper law enforcement methods.
• Enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise to/from the United States.
• Utilizing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis to identify potential threats/risk assessments for violations/national security threats.

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in areas such as:

• Law enforcement methods/procedures


• Merchandise import/export regulations/enforcement


• Risk assessment/intelligence gathering techniques
