Compensation: $70,000-90,000 + bonus plan

Reporting to: VP, Business Development

The Role
As Regional Business Manager, Atlantic Canada, you will lead strategic account growth and new business development across the region.
You'll operate as a trusted advisor to insurance carriers and key stakeholders while building a strong sales pipeline to expand DKI's regional presence. This is an entrepreneurial, high-impact role ideal for a consultative sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, territory ownership, and exceeding targets.
You will manage both named accounts and new account acquisition, balancing strategic relationship development with disciplined pipeline management and performance tracking.
Expected Outcomes:
Grow and Retain Key Insurance Carrier Accounts
Own and strengthen relationships with assigned named accounts across Atlantic Canada.
· Act as the primary point of contact for all matters specific to assigned accounts.
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with insurance carriers and new business partners.
· Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
· Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned to customer needs.
· Communicate account expectations internally across the region.
· Maintain a high degree of ongoing account engagement through regular meetings and communication.
· Forecast and track key account metrics.
· Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
· Support issue escalations and high-severity requests when required
Drive New Business Development Across the Territory
Execute the full sales lifecycle to expand DKI's presence in Atlantic Canada.
· Identify new account opportunities aligned with National and Regional plans.
· Manage the complete business development cycle from lead generation through close.
· Build and maintain a sales pipeline sufficient to meet or exceed targets.
· Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
· Negotiate pricing and close new opportunities.
· Maintain detailed knowledge of DKI's service offerings and competitive environment.
· Manage daily sales activity and adhere to defined sales processes.
Execute Regional Marketing Strategy and Industry Engagement
Support and deliver marketing initiatives that strengthen brand presence and generate
opportunities.
· Collaborate with Regional Members to develop and implement the annual Marketing Plan and budget.
· Supervise marketing activities to ensure alignment and cost control.
· Attend and coordinate trade shows, seminars, and regional meetings as directed.
· Research and secure regional speaking opportunities.
· Support RFI/RFP submissions for regional and national proposals.
· Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
Maintain Strong Reporting, Forecasting, and KPI Accountability
Operate with discipline, transparency, and performance focus.
· Provide monthly territory updates including forecasting.
· Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
· Accurately document all sales activity and account progress in CRM systems.
· Utilize reporting tools to provide performance insights to clients and members.
· Participate in Regional and National sales meetings.
· Meet established monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPI's.
Skills/Experience Required
· 5+ years of consultative sales experience (insurance or property restoration preferred).
· Proven success in territory growth and relationship-based selling.
· Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach.
· Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
· High attention to detail and data-driven decision -making ability.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web conferencing tools, CRM systems, and presentation software.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
· Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning capabilities.
