The administrative team works closely with and supports the Department Chair, Undergraduate Chair, and Graduate Chair in department operations. At the undergraduate level, Psychology is the largest department in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. At the graduate level, we have six core areas of Psychology as well as the professional Ph.D. training program in Clinical Psychology. Our team emphasizes a respectful, collaborative, and supportive work culture.
About The Role
Performs diverse administrative assistance to the Director of the Clinical Training Program, Chair of the Graduate Studies Committee, and Chair of the Graduate Admissions Committee by assuming all administrative duties not requiring the direct attention of the respective Chairs.
Qualifications
High school graduation and two years of post-secondary education or formal certificate/diploma program equivalent. 2 years of minimum experience. An equivalent combination of formal education, certificate/program of study and experience is acceptable.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize and determine priorities with minimal direction or supervision.
Ability to exercise mature judgment and initiative.
Ability to work effectively in a courteous and cooperative manner with faculty, staff, and students.
Ability to handle confidential material with discretion.
