About the Role:
- We are seeking highly motivated individuals who share our commitment to protecting America's borders and enforcing laws related to customs, immigration, and agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing laws and regulations related to importing and exporting goods, as well as conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
- They will also play a crucial role in facilitating trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of people and goods into the United States.
Typical Assignments Include:
a. Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws
b. Facilitating trade flow
c. Conducting individual & conveyance inspection process
d. Admissibility assessment for incoming visitors from other countries
The main duties that most officers face involve dealing with customers during peak hours.
Preliminary assignments could include assessing requirements depending on regions nearby: domestic air services would either send overland travelers straight through specific airports located down U.S eastern seaboard eastward toward Mexican line requiring careful admissable vetting criteria precautions whereas conduct smooth port screening processes simultaneously meeting border patrols prompt assistance...
