Job Description
- Patrol the international border with Canada and Mexico, guarding against unauthorized entry into the United States.
- Inspect documents of people suspected of violating immigration laws to determine citizenship or violations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Border Patrol Agent, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. This includes duties such as apprehending violators of state, federal or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance detection situation awareness systems communications equipment.
