Border Protection SpecialistAbout the Job
The Border Patrol Agent role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the security of our nation's borders and protection of its citizens. As a Border Protection Specialist, you will be part of an elite team responsible for safeguarding the American people by detecting and preventing illegal activities at or near national borders.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties of this position include:
- Detecting physical evidence such as tracks, marks, or other signs indicating illegal entry.
i. Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
ci. Inspecting documents and possessions to verify citizenship or identify violations.
deterring illicit activity through effective surveillance techniques ,
h3 Required Skills & Qualifications:h4 Specialized Experience:h5 To qualify for this position you must have one (1) year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level with responsibilities including:
h6 Performing background checks on personnel,
h7 Gathering intelligence information from sources both inside and outside official channels,
h8 Preparing investigative reports summarizing findings,
