Job Description

This role involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. You will also facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel while conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.

  • Safeguarding national borders by preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods
  • Determining admissibility for entry into the United States; utilizing intelligence techniques to identify potential threats
The mission-critical locations you may be assigned to include various duty stations across the country.
Promotions are available based on performance in each grade level (GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11) after successfully completing 52 weeks. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center provides comprehensive training consisting of basic law enforcement skills.
