Job Summary:
The Sales Operation Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing the Sales Operation Specialist team to ensure consistent execution of sales operations, customer account management, and cross-functional coordination. This role serves as the operational bridge between Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance, ensuring processes are followed, data integrity is maintained, and customer and sales needs are met efficiently. The supervisor drives performance, accountability, and continuous improvement while supporting sales growth, revenue realization, and customer satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for Sales Operation Specialists, including goal setting, development planning, and performance reviews. Ensure consistent execution of sales support processes across all assigned regions, including account management, order fulfillment, shipment coordination, and account settlement. Act as the primary escalation point for complex customer, account, system, or process-related issues. Partner closely with Sales leadership to align support activities with sales strategies, forecasts, and business priorities. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, and IT to ensure timely and accurate execution of key business deliverables (month-end close, year-end activities, shipping deadlines, AR management). Monitor data accuracy and system integrity related to customer accounts, orders, pricing, and settlements; implement corrective actions as needed. Drive adoption of new tools, systems, and processes, ensuring team readiness, compliance, and change management. Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and efficiency gains; lead or support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure corporate deadlines and service-level expectations are consistently met. Communicate and reinforce brand directives, company policies, and operational standards. Monitor workload distribution and staffing needs to support business demand and seasonal fluctuations. Support audit requests, compliance requirements, and internal controls related to sales operations. Project and reinforce a professional, customer-focused image of AgriGold, Mustang Seeds, and GDM Genetics. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, sales objectives, and operational controls. High emotional intelligence with strong influencing, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and data accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or sales systems preferred. Ability to lead change, drive accountability, and reinforce standardized processes. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, account management, or a related function. Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of the seed or agricultural industry preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position may require occasional work outside of standard business hours to meet operational or business needs. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Limited overnight travel required.
