Stantec is a global engineering consulting firm dedicated to creating sustainable and innovative solutions with a focus on people, value, team spirit, and excellence. We are looking for a junior Geotechnical Engineer-In-Training (EIT) to join our geotechnical engineering team based in Burnaby, BC. 

The successful candidate will work closely with a local team of 35 geotechnical staff in Burnaby, supported by a wider, regional team of over 200 geotechnical staff. Our team supports all stages of project delivery with technical expertise in seismicity, transportation and infrastructure, dams, trenchless technologies, rock engineering, and geohazards and geomorphology. Join a diverse group of engineers, geoscientists, project managers, and technicians, and help shape the future of the communities where we live, work, and play.

​​Essential qualifications:​  

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of engineering (such as Civil, Geotechnical, Geological, or Mining Engineering) from a recognized university. 
• 0-4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related services (new graduates are encouraged to apply). 
• Eligible to register (or already registered) as an Engineer-In-Training with EGBC
• Valid Canadian driver's license with access to a vehicle.  
• Ability to live and work in Canada.  
• Residing in British Columbia, or willing to relocate.
