Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools - Temporary
Location: Corporate Board Office, Schumacher Ontario
Start Date: As soon as possible to June 30, 2026 (with the possibility of extension) or return of absent employee

Skills Required
Demonstrates strong organization, time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively balance priorities to meet deadlines under pressure
Advanced computer skills including work processing, spreadsheet, email, internet and presentation application, Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to work effectively as a member of a team, with the ability to provide cross-functional support
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy
Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communications and conflict management skills
Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor
Tasks To Be Accomplished
Provide administrative support at the Executive level including researching, organizing , prioritizing and responding as appropriate to specific communications, correspondence and requests for information
Manage time, resources, work flow and deadlines
Respond to inquiries and requests, escalating more complex requests to appropriate senior staff members for resolution
Draft reports, as well as build, create, edit and review document content for the Superintendents and Director as required
Attend and document minutes and actions at various meetings
Coordinate and maintain various Superintendent of Schools (central region) activities as required
Compose and transpose correspondence and related documents from handwritten or electronic format at high levels of accuracy using the appropriate grammar
Participate in, and on occasion lead, various administrative initiatives including project work
Organize and maintain current files and records

Education And Experience Requirements
2 -year college diploma in secretarial studies, office administration or relevant post-secondary education general business/administration
5-7 years related experience or equivalent
Experience in the broader public sector, education environment is preferred
Salary: In accordance with the current non-union compensation schedule - $90,030.78 per year
