• The job entails detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and custom laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess one year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations, learn regulations through classroom training/instruction. Alternatively, they may have a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement (class standing/grade-point average/honor society membership) or one full year graduate-level education in law enforcement-related fields from an accredited college/university. A combination of experience/education will also be considered.
