Protective Security Expert

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders and protecting the American people. You will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the nation's economic prosperity by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

Your primary duties will include:

• Enforcing customs regulations to facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activities.

You must possess specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level which includes:

• Detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods;


• Enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise from/to USA/Guam/Puerto Rico/USVI;
