We are seeking experienced and skilled individuals to join our team as Border Patrol Agents. This is a career ladder position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of a Border Patrol Agent is to detect, question, and apprehend aliens attempting to enter or exit the United States illegally. The agents also conduct agricultural checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks along rivers in boats along coastal waterways for U.S Customs Protection Mission enforcement purposes.
- Detecting suspected violators by questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws
- Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship status/violations
- Pursuing smugglers at border zones using various methods like surveillance night operations infrared scopes/
Requirements & Qualifications : GS-9:
* One year specialized experience equivalent GL-8 grade level performing duties:
* i)perform physical searches detained individuals their vehicles surroundings weapons contraband currency evidence.
* ii) Apprehending physically restraining working law officials identify apprehend state federal immigration law violators. .
* /span>military police assignment local government member valid current prior Law Enforcement Experience qualifies GS11 jobs higher pay salary benefits leading crime investigations arrest developments etc.. {/html), "/tr") = (")/b(0)",
