Border Security Professional

A Customs and Border Protection Officer plays a critical role in safeguarding the nation's borders, facilitating legitimate trade and travel, while preventing illicit activity. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

• Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility for entry into the United States
• Pursue seizures of property or fines based on findings
• Maintain accurate records of transactions

To be eligible for this position you must meet one of the following qualifications:

GS-5 level qualification (3 years work experience_) ): Experience that demonstrates ability to meet & deal with people.

(1 year specialized full time Work exp-equivalent next lower grade ) Perform Physical Inspections , Utilize techniques evaluate facts apply Federal state local law review documentation
