Border Protection Career Opportunity

  • A Customs and Border Protection Officer protects America's borders, enforcing laws and regulations to safeguard national security.

  • The role involves detaining suspected violators of federal, state or local laws, conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility for entry into the United States and preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.



Key Responsibilities:

- Enforce customs, immigration and agriculture laws
- Conduct interviews with suspected lawbreakers to determine course of action
- Use intelligence techniques to identify potential threats


The ideal candidate has a minimum one year specialized experience that includes:  Detaining suspected violators of federal/state/local laws, 
arresting using proper methods. The successful candidate will also undergo rigorous training in FLETC.
