You will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, safeguarding American interests and securing our nation. This is a career ladder position with grade level progression from GS-5 to GS-12.

Duties:

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determine the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
• Prevent illegal entry attempts by identifying prohibited goods or smuggled contraband items such as drugs.
